Why go through the enormous effort and expense of publishing a book if it isn't a good one? To the contrary, Supervert remains very proud of Extraterrestrial Sex Fetish. If there has been any reticence to put a sample chapter online, it's because ETSF was intended to be a true book — something with tactile qualities, weight, texture, and something that you read very differently than the sort of texts you read on the internet. To write for the internet is a different game than writing for print. Online the ideal is the short paragraph with the concise point. Internet readers tend not to dawdle. Web analysis software measures the amount of time readers spend on a page in seconds.
