Shockometer
Shockometer is a software device for the self-determination of shock-resistance capacity. Presenting itself as a kind of game, it utilizes shocking, violent, horrible imagery to enable you to determine your ability to withstand shock. Each shocking image is initially presented in a censored, pixilated form reminiscent of the scrambling of pornographic cable shows. By pressing and holding down the Shockometer button, the user gradually clarifies the image to reveal its horror. Each picture successfully endured by the user earns him or her a certain number of points, and these points are finally utilized by the proprietary Shockometer algorithm to determine the user's shock-resistance capacity.
WARNING: Shockometer contains material of an extreme, violent, adult nature. DO NOT try to use Shockometer if you are under 18!
WARNING TO EPILEPTICS: Shockometer contains stroboscopic images. If you think these may trigger a seizure, please refrain from watching.
NOTE: Shockometer requires version 8 (or higher) of Macromedia Shockwave.
