Supervert Electronic Library
Supervert presents free digitizations of texts by Georges Bataille, Charles Baudelaire, Gottfried Benn, Thomas De Quincey, the Marquis de Sade, and Rudolf Schwarzkogler.
The mandate of the Supervert Electronic Library is to produce and distribute high-quality digitizations of an eclectic array of literary and philosophical texts which, in many cases, have not previously been available on the internet. These texts also serve to contextualize the original productions of Supervert thus the eLibrary begins with two works by the Marquis de Sade, 120 Days of Sodom and Philosophy in the Bedroom, key inspirations for Supervert's own work.
The texts in Supervert's Electronic Library are available in the common Portable Document Format (PDF), able to be viewed by Adobe Acrobat and compatible software.
All digitizations of texts are © Supervert 32C Inc.
A note about copyrights. There are many texts and authors e.g. William Burroughs, Samuel Beckett, J.G. Ballard that Supervert will not include in its eLibrary out of respect for the authors' and publishers' copyrights. Meanwhile, Supervert recognizes that certain of the texts in its eLibrary will violate intellectual property rights in a small way. In such cases, it is worth remembering that Supervert earns no profit from the free distribution of these texts, and that you also can help by purchasing the original books from which these texts are drawn.
